Ross Rowing Club provides the perfect setting to rest in the surrounds of the River Wye, or go from here and explore the beautiful Wye Valley in detail. The campsite is right on the river and just a few minutes’ walk to the market town of Ross-on-Wye, with plenty of further amenities. This is a great back-to-nature experience for anyone who loves the water and the outdoors.
Camping is located on the fields which are behind and upriver from the boat house. There are 12 acres of land so no problem accommodating large groups (during the August Bank Holiday rowing regatta over 250 rowers and their families stay on site).
Along with tent campers, trailertents, Caravans, Motorhomes & Campervans are all welcome, but electric hookup is not available.
All pitches are approx 12m x 10m so large enough to pitch 1x 4 person tent or 2x 2 person tents along with a vehicle.
